Accredited for over 45 years

In 1976, the herberg Business School became one of the few accredited business schools in the country. Today we are one of only seven AACSB accredited business schools in Minnesota.

的 Bachelor of Science in 信息系统 is also accredited by the Computing 认证 Commission (CAC) of 教唆.

历史

1938年，圣. Cloud Teacher's College created a business office and office administration department staffed by two faculty members. By 1948, the program evolved into a business administration program that employed six business faculty. During the 1960's, the department evolved into a college with an MBA and internship program.

In 1976, with five departments and 42 full-time faculty, the college earned AACSB认证, distinguishing itself from other business colleges as providing a quality business educational experience comparable to ivy league institutions.

In 1999, the herberg family endowed the college and it was renamed the G.R. herberg College of Business.

2007年，G.R. herberg College of Business moved into the renovated Centennial Hall. 的 new facility enhanced the college's ability to educate students and serve the business community.

In 2011, the college was renamed the herberg Business School.

In 2019-2020, the Bachelor of Science in 信息系统 earned accreditation by the Computing 认证 Commission (CAC) of 教唆. 的 accreditation extended retroactively from October 1, 2018.

In 2023, the 经济学 Department moved 从 School of Public Affairs to the herberg Business School. 教师 从 following programs also joined the school: Hospitality and Tourism, 社区 Planning and Development, and Master of Public Administration.
